  • At this time, The Sound Store ships merchandise to locations within the United States and U.S. territories, including Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam, and the US Virgin Islands. Additionally, The risk of loss and title for all merchandise ordered on this Web site pass to you when the merchandise is delivered to the shipping carrier.



  • Sales Tax


  • The Sound Store charges sales tax for merchandise ordered on this Web site based on the applicable state sales tax rate and the location to which the order is being shipped.



  • Return Policy

    Sound Effects:

    Physical FX products sold directly on The Sound Store website are returnable within 30 days ONLY if the product is defective (broken, unplayable, or otherwise physically defective). In all other cases, The Sound Store shall not be obligated to accept the return of any product. Sound effects purchased via digital download are not returnable and non-refundable under any circumstance.

    All Other Products:

    If, for whatever reason, you are dissatisfied with your purchase, you can return it within 30 days of the purchase date. Claims for items damaged in transit must be received within two business days of receipt of merchandise.

    You have the option of exchanging the item(s) or receiving a refund for the applicable purchase amount. Refunds on returned items will be issued in the same payment form as tendered at the time of purchase. If payment was made by credit card, once we receive the product we will credit your account. Please allow 7-10 days for a credit to appear on your credit card statement.

    Please read all conditions below. If conditions are not met, The Sound Store reserves the right to refuse the return or to charge a restocking fee of 15%.

    •  Ship using insured ground service with a tracking number. We are not responsible for lost or damaged packages.

    •  Return shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer.
